Giving back

This week, some of the charity work undertaken by our organization has figured in the national media. In particular, two of the activities we support a) the people for people trust that puts up playgrounds in government schools and b) the charitable radiology reporting done by our Telerad Foundation have been given attention in a TV program. This can be viewed online on the link http://www.timesnow.tv/Making-schooling-a-happier-experience/videoshow/4445685.cms

One of the core values of our organization is always helping the community. We believe that it is important to utilize the experience and the revenues we

have gained from our commercial efforts to benefit those less privileged. Using the Robin Hood model we have dedicated a portion of our revenues from the more economically advanced regions for this purpose.

Towards this end we have been supported by some wonderful people who have donated their time and energies to the Telerad Foundation and in some cases made financial contributions towards the People 4 People trust .

Dr Gayathri Savarkudel from Australia and Dr Ben Northrup from the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology are two radiologists who have selflessly contributed their time to the Foundation reporting scans for people in remote parts of Asia and ensuring that they obtain the highest quality of reporting that is possible.

May their tribe increase!
