YIGH received a $200,000 gift from Arjun Kalyanpur, YSM ’99, and Sunita Maheshwari, YSM ’99

We are delighted to announce that in the late spring, YIGH received a $200,000 gift from Arjun Kalyanpur, YSM ’99, and Sunita Maheshwari, YSM ’99, to support the YIGH Sustainable Health Initiative (SHI). The gift will establish the Kalyanpur-Maheshwari Endowment for Global Health Innovation, which will provide impact grants to Yale students and trainees as they develop an idea, initiative, or venture in global health. The grants may be used in a variety of ways, including for software, materials for product or service creation, promotional costs, and program staff and operations. Through this gift, we will continue our efforts to be a catalyst for change and strive to help solve complex global health challenges through business-minded approaches, creative problem-solving methods, and international collaboration. We look forward to seeing the incredible innovation that will spring forth from this generous gift.
